Campaign to Stop Antisocial Behaviour in Ireland

Guidlines for submitting reports of antisocial behaviour to the website

Because of laws governing defamation of character and slander we are unable to allow website visitors post reports or stories of antisocial behaviour directly to the website. As you can appreciate there are people who for whatever reasons do not want antisocial behaviour websites to appear on the internet. All emails submitted to this website will be monitored by moderators  who will decide if an email needs to be edited or rejected for publication on the site. When submitting an email to the website please follow the following guidelines.

  • Try and keep the report as short as possible

  • Tell us about yourself (you can request this information to be omitted from publication)

  •  Provide dates and times

  • Please do not mention people by name or indirectly by a household address number- you can use estate, road name and description of general area but not specific items of property that identify an individual and their home.

  • Give as much information as possible about the assistance you received from the Gardai, Local Authorities, Church and local community groups

  • Outline the exact nature of the antisocial behaviour and how long it has been directed at you, your family or neighbours on your road.

  • Provide an approximate age bracket of the people who are causing the antisocial behaviour

  • Use the antisocial behaviour survey on this website to help guide you through submitting a report, if you do not wish to write an email to the campaign.

  •  Compile your story in a word document and then copy and paste the story to an email or onto the survey. In this way you can relax and compile the report at your convenience.
